Makin' art in the 'Burg

Sunny's work is created by firing multiple layers of glass at high temperatures in a kiln to achieve various design & textural elements. Multiple firings generate the desired effects & shapes with several hour of annealing (cooling) between firing stages. Much of her work is executed using tweezers & brushes to carefully place each piece of glass to produce depth, dimension, collage & patterns. Her work includes jewelry, night lights, plateware, sculptures and wall hangings. She resides in St. Petersburg with her husband and son.
